The Denia-born Valencia CF player, Pepelu shared his thoughts on the 1-1 draw at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix on Matchday 9 of LaLiga EA Sports in Majorca.
The result
It was a very tough match. We started by going behind again, which is a mistake. We cannot afford to go out on the pitch and concede in the fifth minute. But the team rebuilt and competed well despite the absences we have. It is a positive point on which to grow and now we will recover players during the break.
Being a team player
I try to help the team as much as possible. I try to help all my teammates and I am happy personally because I continue to get minutes; that was what I wanted at the beginning.
A family atmosphere
The team are largely responsible for that. From the first day, the dressing room has welcomed me very well and it is something that I am grateful for. It is a magnificent group that is sure to do good things.
Great support from the fans
The support that they give us each game is appreciated. It's a shame that we couldn't dedicate the victory to them, but they are sure to be there for the next game.
Time to work
The break is going to be good for us, especially to bring back players and work on what we are not doing well, to achieve victory again against Cádiz.
